The 1st Amateur League South Baden 1969/70  was the 20th season of the 1st Amateur League in South Baden - the forerunner of today's  Association League South Baden . SV Waldkirch was again the South Baden amateur champion  . In the promotion round to the Regionalliga, SV Waldkirch played against SV Göppingen , FV 09 Weinheim and SV Tübingen and came last. The VFR ACHERN and SV Mörsch had to descend to the 2nd Amateur League. The climbers for the following season were the amateurs of Freiburg FC and Kehler FV .

As in the previous year, FC Emmendingen took part in the German amateur soccer championship in 1970 for Südbaden . This time it was over in the first round against SVA Gütersloh  (Westphalia).
