Oberliga Südwest

The Landesliga Südbaden 1949/50  was the last season of the Landesliga in football in South Baden before it was transferred to the 1st Amateur League South Baden . It formed the highest amateur class below the Oberliga Südwest , which until 1950 also covered southern Baden. South Baden champion in 1950 was the SC Baden-Baden , which, however, did not rise to a higher class as part of the reclassification from South Baden to the South German Football Association .

The SVGG Emmendingen , the FC Furtwangen , the SV Gottmadingen , the FC Gutach and VfR Stockach descend had. SV Weil was promoted to the 1st amateur league for the following season . From the disbanded southern group of the Oberliga Südwest, the FT 1844 Freiburg , SV Kuppenheim , Lahrer FV 03 , FC Rastatt 04 , Offenburg FV and FC 08 Villingen were added to the 1st amateur league for the following season .
