The 1st Amateur League South Baden 1973/74 was the 24th season of the 1st Amateur League in South Baden - the forerunner of today's Association League South Baden . The South Baden amateur champion was the Offenburger FV . With the introduction of the two-part 2nd Bundesliga , there were no promoters from the 1st amateur league. The SV Oberkirch , the Kehler FV and the SV Waldkirch had to relegate to the 2nd amateur league. SV Kirchzarten and FC Konstanz were promoted from the 2nd amateur league for the following season . Freiburg FC came as relegated from the regional league .

As part of the introduction of the 2nd Bundesliga in 1974, the South Baden clubs DJK Konstanz , FC Gottmadingen , FC Singen and FC Villingen were eliminated from the Black Forest-Bodensee League and returned to the 1st Amateur League South Baden.

Anyone who took part in the 1974 German amateur championships as a South Baden participant was played on May 11, 1974 in a playoff between South Baden champions Offenburg FV and Black Forest Lake Constance champions FC Villingen in Freiburg's Möslestadion, which FC Villingen won 4-2 . In the amateur championship, this failed in the 2nd round at FK Clausen .
