The 1st Amateur League South Baden 1971/72 was the 22nd season of the 1st Amateur League in South Baden - the forerunner of today's Association League South Baden . The amateur champions from the south of Baden were FC Rastatt . In the relegation to Regionalliga Süd, the Raststätter had to play against SV Waldhof Mannheim , FC Singen 04 and SSV Ulm and only achieved 4th place there. The Kehler FV , the SV Bühlertal and the VfR Rheinfeldenwere all tied, so the two possible relegated teams had to be decided in a simple round of relegation. In the end, the Kehler were ahead, Bühlertal and Rheinfelden had to relegate. Alemannia Zähringen and FV Ötigheim were promoted for the following season .
