The 1st Amateur League South Baden 1952/53  was the 3rd season of the 1st Amateur League in South Baden - the forerunner of today's  Association League South Baden . The South Baden amateur champion was the  Offenburger FV , who could only occupy the 4th place of 6 participating teams in the promotion round to the II. Division .

At the German amateur championship in 1953 the FC Villingen took part for Südbaden , but failed there with the 4th place in the group preliminary round against the teams from SV Bergisch Gladbach 09 , FV Hockenheim 08 and FSV Schifferstadt .

The SV Kuppenheim and ASV Freiburg had to descend to the 2nd Amateur League.

The promoters for the following season were VfB Bühl and FC Emmendingen .
