The upper class South Baden 1945/46 was the first season of the top amateur football class in South Baden after the Second World War . It began in February 1946 and was held in two seasons.

The two season winners Fortuna Rastatt and VfL Konstanz played the final of the South Baden championship, which Fortuna Rastatt won 5-0 on July 14, 1946 in Freiburg im Breisgau . In addition to the two season winners, VfL Freiburg and SpVgg Offenburg also rose to the newly founded Oberliga Südwest , which also covered southern Baden until 1950.

The South Baden champions Fortuna Rastatt played in a return match against champions of the Oberliga Saar-Pfalz-Hessen for the championship of the French occupation zone , with Rastatt losing to 1. FC Saarbrücken with 0: 5 and 4: 4.
