The Oberliga Berlin 1988/89 was the fifteenth season of the Berlin Association ballgame teams conducted Oberliga Berlin .

The Reinickendorfer Füchse , who started the season with 17 wins, became champions for the first time and qualified for the promotion round to the 2nd Bundesliga , in which they missed promotion as fourth in the northern group. Hertha Zehlendorf took part as runner-up in the German amateur championship final, in which the team lost in the first round to the later amateur champions Eintracht Trier .
