Ingrid Simon (born March 29, 1944 in Vienna ) is a German actress .

Ingrid Simon was discovered for film at the age of eleven and played the title role in Gustav Machatý's last production, the sentimental work Suchkind 312 . Other (this time smaller) children's roles followed, including as the daughter of Willy Birgel in the melodrama Johannisnacht .

As a young adult she took acting lessons from Annemarie Hanschke in Munich . In the early 1960s, Ingrid Simon also received guest roles in Italian and Spanish productions. As a blonde, mature and attractive teenager, the native of Vienna also played seductive young women in mostly harmless entertainment. With the decline of Papa's cinema , the theater began to gain more and more prominence in her career. Ingrid Simon was later seen in a number of television films. It has largely disappeared from the public eye since the early 1970s.
