Nschan Muntschjan

Nschan Muntschjan ( Armenian Նշան Մունչյան ; born June 24, 1963 in Yerevan ) is a former Armenian boxer .

Muntschjan won the title at the European Championship in 1987. At the World Championships in 1989, he took the bronze medal rank. In 1993 he was world champion light flyweight at the 7th World Championships in Tampere, Finland . After a 7-2 point victory in the semifinals over the American Albert Guardado , he defeated the Bulgarian Daniel Petrow on points 8: 6 in the final . Three years later he took part in the 1996 Olympic Games .
