The Ingvaldnuten ( Norwegian ; Russian Гора Павлова Gora Pawlowa ) is a summit of the Sør Rondane in the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land . It is the easternmost peak of the Isachsenfjella .
Scientists at the Norwegian Polar Institute named him in 1973 after the Norwegian polar explorer Gunnerius Ingvald Isachsen (1868-1939), head of the fourth Antarctic expedition with the Norvegia (1930-1931), financed by the Norwegian whaling entrepreneur Lars Christensen . The namesake of the Russian name is not known.
