Ingvar Bengtsson ( Bengt Rolf Ingvar Bengtsson; born April 10, 1922 in Obbola , † April 6, 2001 in Söderhamn ) was a Swedish middle -distance runner who had specialized in the 800-meter distance .

At the Olympic Games in London in 1948 he was fifth and fourth at the European Athletics Championships in Brussels in 1950 .

From 1948 to 1950 he was Swedish champion three times in a row. He set his personal best of 1: 49.4 minutes on July 21, 1948 in Gävle .
