Inclusion Award Berlin 2019

The Berlin Inclusion Prize has been awarded annually by the State of Berlin since 2003 . The Senate Administration for Integration, Labor and Social Affairs and the State Office for Health and Social Affairs award the inclusion prize to employers in Berlin who train or employ severely disabled people in an exemplary manner. In 2013, the competition was renamed from Integration Prize to Inclusive Prize, as the previous name was ambiguous.

Since 2012, the state award has been awarded to one applicant in each of the categories of small , medium- sized and large companies . Private and public companies of all sizes and from all economic sectors can take part in the competition. All prices are equivalent and each with a cash prize of 10,000 Euros endowed . A special prize can also be awarded. The award winners are selected by a jury that includes the state commissioner for people with disabilities and the public administration as well as employee and employer associations and organizations for the disabled .
