Inna Michailowna Tschurikowa ( Russian И́нна Миха́йловна Чу́рикова ; born  October 5, 1943 in Belebei ) is a Russian actress who holds the honorary title of People's Artist of the USSR .

Life

Churikova was born in the Bashkir city ​​of Belebei and moved to Moscow with her mother as a child . There she studied at the Shchepkin Theater School and graduated in 1965. During her studies she played in a number of well-known Soviet films, including Georgi Danelija's comedy Zwischenlandung in Moscow (1963).

After graduating from the theater school, she initially worked as an actress in the Moscow Children's and Youth Theater (Russian Театр юного зрителя ). In 1975 she moved to the Lenin Komsomol Theater ( Lenkom Theater ), where she still plays today. There she worked, among other things, in a production of Hamlet by Andrei Tarkowski in 1977 .

She had her first major film roles in two films by Gleb Panfilow , No ford through fire (1968) and leading role for a stranger (1970). For the second role mentioned, she was voted best Soviet actress in 1971 by the film magazine Sowjetski ekran .

In the 2000s she also appeared in several nationally known TV series.
