Intan Paramaditha
Intan Paramaditha (born November 15, 1979 in Bandung ) is an Indonesian writer and lecturer.
Intan Paramaditha received a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from the University of Indonesia and a Master of Arts (MA) from the University of California San Diego, with the support of a Fulbright program , in English literature . She received her Ph.D. from New York University.
Intan Paramaditha has a daughter and lives in Sydney with her partner. She teaches media studies and film studies at Macquarie University . Prior to that she taught at the University of Indonesia and Sarah Lawrence College. Her research includes feminism , transnationalism , cosmopolitanism , postcolonialism, and global film and media.
She writes novels and short stories in Indonesian and has received several awards for it.
