The Shangri-La Valley is a small, grassed valley in northeastern Lagotellerie Island in Marguerite Bay before Fallières coast of Graham Lands on the Antarctic Peninsula .
Herwil M. Bryant (1916–2003), a participant in the United States Antarctic Service Expedition (1939–1941), explored it between 1940 and 1941. Because of the lush vegetation, he named it after the fictional place of longing Shangri-La from James Hiltons published in 1933 Novel The Lost Horizon .
