The International Training Center ( ITC for short ) in Enschede , the Netherlands, is a globally active, publicly funded institute for the training of technicians , managers and geoscientists in modern techniques of remote sensing , land development, GIS , surveying technology and environmental observation .

It was created in 1950 in Delft ( NL ) as the International Training Center for Aerial Survey ( aerial photo - photogrammetry ).
