The Interpump Group is an Italian manufacturer of hydraulics (power take- offs , cylinders, valves) and high pressure pumps.

The company claims that it is the world market leader for high-pressure piston pumps . These are manufactured under the brand names Pratissoli , NLB Corp and Hammelmann .

history

The Interpump Group was founded in 1977 in Sant'Ilario d'Enza (Reggio Emilia) by Fulvio Montipò.

In the 1990s, the group took over several leading companies that manufacture professional and industrial cleaning machines and electric motors .

In 1996 the Interpump Group was listed on the Milan Stock Exchange.

Between 1997 and 1999, the Interpump Group entered the hydraulic components sector through the acquisition of several companies and thus became the world's largest manufacturer of power take-offs (PTO). As part of the realignment of the group, companies in the cleaning machines and electric motors divisions were sold.

Starting in 2015, companies with a focus on high-pressure homogenizers, agitators, various pump manufacturers and manufacturers of components for flow treatment in the food , cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries were acquired.

In the field of hydraulics, several cylinder manufacturers were acquired in 2007–2008. Between 2013 and 2015, the Valves and DCV subdivisions were founded and activities for hoses and fittings were started, which were expanded in the following years to include flexible metal hoses, rigid pipes and complex piping systems.

2015 took over Inter pumping the company Walvoil .
