Intersurgical Medical Device

A £ 9 million Intersurgical Medical Device ( Changzhou ) project in the CND's Bio-Pharmaceutical Industrial Park is planned. It is Intersurgical's first production site in the People's Republic of China . The plan is to produce various devices for airway management, anesthesia and intensive care, as well as oxygen and aerosol therapy.

Uždaroji akcinė bendrovė “Intersurgical” is the largest high-tech company in Lithuania in terms of number of employees , a member of the Intersurgical concern. The production is various devices for airway management, the areas of anesthesia and intensive care as well as for oxygen and aerosol therapy. The company is owned by the British parent company. The Lithuanian company is based in the town of Pabradė , Švenčionys district . In 2012 the company achieved a turnover of 220 million litas and in 2013 a turnover of 245 million litas (71 million euros).

history

In 1994 the UAB "Intersurgical" was registered. From 2007 to 2013, the company implemented a project to increase productivity (“Verslo produktyvumo didinimas ir aplinkos verslui gerinimas”) as part of the “Lyderis LT” program worth Lt29.9 million (EUR 9 million), 50 Percent were financed by the European Regional Development Fund. Investments of 10 million euros are planned by 2015 (including 4 million euros from EU programs). 300 million litas (90 million euros) have been invested in 18 years. 99 percent of the production is exported to more than 100 countries, 60% to Great Britain . A new depot is planned in Alytus .

Employee

In 2013 there were over 1500 employees. Most of them come from former companies such as “Sigma”, “Venta”, “Snaigė”. UAB “Intersurgical” currently employs 1,682 people (as of 2014). 580 employees live in Pabradė, others are transported daily by company buses from Švenčionys , Švenčionėliai , Molėtai and Vilnius . The company has its own employee training and education center for new employees and their continuing education . As the company plans to expand, the company aims to provide the workforce. To this end, a wide range of social measures are promoted in the Švenčionys Rajong municipality , especially in Pabradė: support for educational and cultural institutions, the Church in the region events, campaigns, sporting activities.

In 2010 the general manager Sigitas Žvirblis was awarded by the Lithuanian President Dalia Grybauskaitė as annual manager ("Metų vadybininkas") for the activities in the small Lithuanian town and periphery in the competition for the weekly " Veidas ".

In 2016 there were almost 2,000 employees.

quality control

Intersurgical Ltd. is certified according to ISO 14001 : 2004. All Intersurgical products meet the requirements of the relevant BS, ISO and EN quality standards. In accordance with ISO 9001: 2000, ISO 13485 and Annex II of the MDD, all products are CE marked.

Intersurgical was the first to sell PVC- free anesthesia and respiratory products worldwide that are beneficial to human health and the environment.
