Intimidation One ( German : 'Intimidation No. 1', refers to a law in Oregon) was an American right-wing rock band from Portland , Oregon . It comes from the environment of the skinhead - Gang Popular Front . She is considered a pioneer of right-wing extremist hardcore , the so-called Hatecore or Nazi hardcore.

Band history

Intimidation One was founded in 1994. The first demo Frontline Soldiers was released in 1995. Their debut album Call to Warriors followed in 1998 via Imperium Records . The album Fallen Heroes (2000) was also released there. Both albums are indexed in Germany, Call to Warriors also confiscated . A split CD with Bulldog Breed was also indexed by the Federal Testing Office for Media Harmful to Young People. In 2004, Panzerfaust Records released an album with English cover versions of the band Landser from Berlin under the title Landser - English . Although the album was marketed as a compilation , the music is entirely from Intimidation One. It was also indexed in 2004.

The band played several times in Europe, including at Blood and Honor events in Germany, Austria, France and Switzerland. On March 16, 2002, the band took part in the largest right-wing rock concert in North Rhine-Westphalia together with co-headliner Max Resist . She played there in front of more than 1,000 people. Intimidation One was involved with the song Set Our Brothers Free 2004 in the Free Comradeships Schoolyard CD project. Around 2004, Intimidation One was renamed Criminal Culture .

Under the name Bound for Intimidation, the band forms a side project with Bound for Glory . So far, they have released three songs as bonus tracks on an album by the Lippstadt band Bloodrevenge around the songwriter Jan-Peter (also with Kaltetod ).

Members

Richard Arden, bassist of the band, was head of the street gang Popular Front from 2004 to 2006. He also plays bass with the band Jew Slaughter . Former member Dylan Wheeler, who was responsible for the organization's website from 2005 to 2006, is also closely associated with Volksfront. The best-known ex-member of the band is probably the Hammerskin Michael Wade Page , who shot and killed six people at a Sikh temple in Wisconsin on August 5, 2012 , wounded four others and then judged himself.

Band name

The band name is based on ORS 166.165, a law in Oregon that deals with so-called hate crimes . "Intimidation One" means "Intimidation in the first degree": Intimidation by several people against people of a different skin color, religion, ethnicity or sexual orientation.
