Intoxicated is the debut album of the German pop-rock - singer Gracia Baur , through their participation in the talent show looking for Germany the superstar became known at the end of the first season finished fifth. The long player sold more than 50,000 times.

I don't think so!

I don't think so! is Gracia's debut single. It was published on July 14, 2003 in German-speaking countries. The video for the title was shot in 2003. Oliver Sommer took over the direction. Eddi Bachmann was the cameraman during the shoot. Theo Lustig was responsible for the lighting. The song made it to number three and stayed in the German charts for eleven weeks. In Austria the title was at number 20 and had been in the charts for a total of nine weeks. In Switzerland it was in position 12 and was able to stay in the charts for a total of ten weeks.

I believe in miracles

I Believe in Miracles was selected as the second single. It was published on September 22, 2003. The text is by Tommy La Verdi, Daniel Pandher and "Ear [NO]". Oliver Sommer also directed the video for this song. Eddi Bachmann, Markus Eckert and Christian Lukas were hired for the recordings. Markus Pütterich incorporated the special effects into the video using a computer revision. Michael Ralla and Constantin von Zitzewitz were responsible for the visual effects. In the music video , there is a gas explosion. This was developed by Zitzewitz and was part of the script for I Believe in Miracles .

Laut.de criticized the album with the words that "the topics are well-known mixes of love and youthful emancipation mania, common hits with no depth". Gracia's strength is “clearly her voice, at least as long as she is not really challenged. ... The 20-year-old can develop her vocal tool in the depths of the pleasing ballads 'Will You Be My Friend' or 'When the Love Is Gone'. ... The artistic depth of Intoxicated is as thin as Dieter Bohlen's rind is thick, arbitrariness prevails. ... "

Pooltrax commented on Intoxicated as follows: “ Every now and then a ballad - that has to be natural, if only because of the variety. But even quiet titles somehow sound rocky again with Gracia. That seems to be one of her skills, always adding some tension to every song. "

letmeentertainyou.de described the album as follows: “… Songs like 'One Man to the Left' or 'Superman' just sound too poppy and smooth. As if Ace of Base were suddenly trying to play their 'Lalala songs' with electric guitars. The inconsequential lyrics in the best 'DJ Bobo' English don't make it any better. Even worse: Gracia's voice only really comes into its own with the ballads ('Don't Turn Your Back on Me', 'When the Love Is Gone'). Only the single 'I Believe in Miracles' and the catchy 'Send Me an Angel' in the 80s sound rock quite acceptable. "
