Suspected chart manipulation
In 2005 the so-called chart scandal broke out . Producer Brandes is said to have bought thousands of CDs of his own artists (Gracia, Vanilla Ninja and Virus Incorporation) himself in order to give them "a clear competitive advantage". As a result, in addition to two albums and two singles by Vanilla Ninja and Heaven Is a Place on Earth by Virus Incorporation, the single Run & Hide was banned from the charts for three months .
Chart placements
Run & Hide entered Germany at number 20 and stayed in the single charts for nine weeks. In Austria the title reached rank 57 for two weeks.
