Eurovision Song Contest

The Eurovision Song Contest 2004 took place on May 15, 2004 at the Abdi İpekçi Sports Complex in Istanbul . Max performed with some members of the band heavytones and presented part of the song in Turkish and the rest in English. Max's performance was not particularly spectacular, he sat on a bar stool with his eyes closed and sang his song. This led commentator Peter Urban to the following statement:

"Please open your eyes while singing!"

In an interview with Sertab Erener, Stefan Raab joked that he wrote this song just for her. The song reached the 8th place of the ESC with a total of 93 points.
