Tina Frank (singer)
Tina Frank , (* 17th November 1974 as Christina Frank ) is a German singer .
Life
Frank received her first piano lessons at the age of eight. Later there followed church organ and drum lessons, vocal training with the American soprano Delcina Stevenson from 1993 to 1996, and then a degree in jazz singing with Karen Edwards (major in jazz singing) and Nikolaus Hillebrand (classical vocal training) at the Richard Strauss Conservatory Munich from 1996 to 1999. During her studies she sang in the Bavarian Youth Jazz Orchestra from 1996 to 1998 and also performed with the Summit Jazz Orchestra at the Montreux Jazz Festival . She also sang in Harald Rüschenbaum's Jazz Big Band.
In autumn 1998 she was co-singer of Oli P. in his third single, a rapped cover version of the hit Flugzeug im Bauch by Herbert Grönemeyer from 1985, sang on his hit single I wish and later again in the songs Das Erste Mal did it hurt and nothing's gonna change my love for you .
She also sang the German intro for many animes, e.g. B. Wedding Peach , Detective Conan , Digimon , Inuyasha and Pretty Cure
For the movie Derrick - Duty calls , she sang the title song Ich schenk Dir mein Herz , with which she also competed in the German preliminary round of the Eurovision Song Contest . The song made it to number 98 in the German charts in 2004. The music for the title was written by Robert Schulte-Hemming , Jens Langbein and Jörn Christof Heilbut , the text was written by Schulte-Hemming and Langbein together with Jan-Phillip Kelber.
She also works as a vocal coach and has worked for music and film productions and television formats such as The Voice of Germany and The Voice Kids . She is a member of the Federal Association of German Singing Pedagogues .
