Wadde hadde dudde there? is a song by Stefan Raab and the German contribution to the Eurovision Song Contest 2000 .

Origin and style of music

“Wadde hadde dudde there?” Is a way of belittling the question “What do you have there?”. According to Raab, the basic idea came from the fact that while walking with his dogs he met an elderly lady, also with a dog, in a park. The strange dog had something indefinable in its mouth, whereupon the owner bent down to him Wadde hadde du de da? asked.

The song itself is a pop song that contains both German and English sections.

The style of music is based on the disco music era in the mid to late 1970s with the typical string and brass variations.
