Stone & Stone were a German pop music duo. It consisted of Glen J. Penniston and the Iranian citizen Tatjana Cheyenne Penniston .

The Dutchman Glen Penniston came to Germany as a drummer in the early 1970s . In 1979 he met Cheyenne, whom he married in 1985. From then on they formed a duo and had a top 30 chart success in 1993 with I Wish You Were Here and the album Miracles . In many radio charts nationwide, her songs occupied first or second place for many weeks. Cheyenne, who could write hits in every musical genre from classical to jazz to reggae, also wrote songs for other artists; one of her greatest successes was Julian von Mandy Winter , who reached number 13 in the German single charts.

In 1995 the Mitteldeutsche Rundfunk nominated the two internally, without a national preliminary decision, as representatives of Germany for the Eurovision Song Contest . Up until now they had always sung their music in English, but had to recite their title I Realized It's You in German as Verliebt in Dich according to the rules of the time . The result, the last place with only one point from Malta , caused ridicule and malice in the media. Stone & Stone then withdrew from show business. They are now going separate ways, both privately and professionally.
