Background information
In 1995 there was no real preliminary decision , instead the music group Stone & Stone was selected. Glen Stone had already composed the song Wunderland for the singer Canan Braun in 1989 , which came in 5th place in the German preliminary round of 1989 with 2,570 points. In 1993 the duo Stone & Stone celebrated a minor success with the song I Wish You Were Here . For Stone & Stone this title was the first German-language title of their career.
Eurovision Song Contest: result and its consequences
The song reached the 23rd and last place in the Eurovision Song Contest and could only get one point from Malta. The consequence of this result was that the music group Stone & Stone disbanded.
