Ioan Constantin Filip (born May 20, 1989 in Oradea ) is a Romanian football player . He has been under contract with Debreceni VSC since August 2016 .

Career

Filip started playing soccer at Bihor Oradea FC in his hometown at the age of ten . At 16, he got the opportunity, for Minerul Stei in the Divizia D to play. In the summer of 2008 he returned to Bihor FC, where he came into the squad of the first team that played in League II at the time . He established himself as a regular player and placed himself with his team in the midfield of the league in both the 2008/09 and 2009/10 seasons . Filip then moved to first division club Oțelul Galați , where he celebrated his debut in League 1 on November 5, 2010 after a few appearances in the reserve team . At the end of the season he won his first title with the 2011 championship . In the following years he became a regular in the team, which however could no longer build on this success.

In the summer of 2014 Filip left Oțelul and joined Petrolul Ploieşti . A year later he moved within Liga 1 to FC Viitorul Constan Ligaa . He was also part of the team in Constana and played for qualification for the Europa League . At the end of August 2016, he was hired by the Hungarian first division club Debreceni VSC .
