Iomega Clik! is the brand name of a removable medium from Iomega with 40 MB storage space, which was offered from 1999 . The medium worked on the same principle as floppy disk drives and hard drives , that is, the data bits were stored magnetically on a rotating disk. The media was 5 cm in diameter, weighed 16 g, and had an average access time of 25 ms. They could be rewritten and write-protected by password using the software supplied.
The Iomega clik! The drive was available in two versions: as a PC version equipped with a rechargeable battery, flash memory cards on the clik! Could copy medium and had a USB connection, as well as a PCMCIA card for the laptop .
Due to the simultaneous appearance of USB sticks and memory cards , clik! not prevail as a medium. It was used in the Agfa ePhoto CL30 Clik! and the Iomega HipZip MP3 player as a storage medium.
