Iosif Boroș

Iosif Boroș (born March 19, 1959 in Săcele ) is a former Romanian handball player .

He played for HC Minaur Baia Mare and won the IHF Cup with the club in 1985 . In 1990 he went to Spain.

For the Romanian national team Boroş played 165 international matches, in which he scored 252 goals. At both the 1980 Olympic Games in Moscow and the 1984 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, he won the bronze medal with Romania. At the 1986 World Cup , he was ninth with the Romanian team.
