Irène Laure

Irène Laure (born September 18, 1898 in Lausanne , Switzerland , † July 4, 1987 in La Ciotat ) was a French politician. From 1945 to 1946 she was a member of the National Assembly .

Laure was a full-time nurse and later head of the Aubagne hospital . After the end of the war, it was put up in 1945 by the socialist party SFIO as third party in the Bouches-du-Rhône department in the elections to the National Assembly. Laure moved into parliament. In the following elections in June 1946 she was again third on the list, but was no longer elected. In the first regular elections after the end of the war in November 1946, she was again unable to enter parliament. After that, she did not run for elections. Laure, who had five children, died in 1987.
