Irena Mazin (born April 23, 1972 in Moscow ) is an Israeli triathlete and national triathlon champion (2015).

Career

Irena Mazin started the triathlon mainly on the Ironman or long distance (3.8 km swimming, 180 km cycling and 42.195 km running).

In January 2015, the then 44-year-old won the Israman for the second time after 2012 on the long-distance triathlon .
In April 2015 she became national champion in the triathlon middle distance.

In 2012, 2015, 2017 and 2018 she was able to qualify for a starting place at the Ironman Hawaii . In January 2020, after 2013 and 2014, the 47-year-old finished second in the Israman on the Ironman distance for the third time.

Irena Mazin works in software development at Siemens in Tel Aviv and lives in Raʿanana .
