Irina Sapira

Irina Sapira (born November 14, 1944 in Bucharest as Irina Zaharescu ; also Irina Spira , Irina Zaharescu-Spira ) is an Austrian interpreter and writer .

Life

Irina Sapira, who has received the degree of " Dr. med. Univ. " And a master's degree in philosophy after studying medicine and the humanities , worked as a figure skater and coach of the Romanian national youth figure skating team in her youth. Then she was an extreme mountaineer. Today she is a certified court interpreter for Romanian at the regional court in Innsbruck . She is also active in literature. In 1982 she took part in the Ingeborg Bachmann Competition in Klagenfurt .

Irina Sapira is a writer of short prose , poetry and plays .

Irina Sapira is a member of the IG Authors' Association . In 1986 she received the sponsorship award from the Austrian Federal Ministry for Education and the Arts .
