Iris Lemanczyk
Iris Lemanczyk (* 1964 in Kirchheim unter Teck ) is a German writer for children and young people .
Lemanczyk studied geography and German in Tübingen. After a trip around the world , which would later provide material for her first book, she did internship at the Südwest-Presse in Ulm and the Neue Württembergische Zeitung in Göppingen , and then worked for the Allgemeine Zeitung (Windhoek) in Namibia, among others . Her first book, My Teacher Comes in an Envelope , was published in 1997 and has been a freelance writer and journalist ever since.
Iris Lemanczyk is a member of the Association of German Writers (VS).
