Iris Schülzke (* 1959 in Herzberg (Elster) ) is a German politician (non-party, until 2017 BVB / Free Voters ). Between 2014 and 2019 she was a member of the Brandenburg State Parliament.

She was elected office director in the office of Schlieben several times . In 2010, she received the most votes in the district election in the Elbe-Elster district , but failed because of the quorum, which stipulates that at least 15 percent of those eligible to vote must approve an applicant, which she did not achieve because of the low turnout of just over 25%.

In the state elections in Brandenburg in 2014 , Schülzke was placed in second place on the state list by the political association Brandenburg United Citizens' Movements / Free Voters (BVB / FW). Because Christoph Schulze, who was in first place on the state list, won the direct mandate in the Teltow-Fläming III state electoral district and so the five percent threshold could not be applied to his party, the Free Voters moved into the Brandenburg state parliament with three members, including Schülzke .

After lengthy disputes with BVB / FW chairman Péter Vida, among other things about the non-payment of their promised contributions and Schülzke alleged behavior that was harmful to the association, the state parliament group dissolved at the end of September 2017. Like Schulze, Schülzke left the party.
