Irma Georgijewna Machinja ( Russian Ирма Георгиевна Махиня ; born September 6, 2002 ) is a Russian ski jumper .

Career

Irma Machinja started internationally for the first time on July 11th and 12th, 2019 in Shchuchinsk, Kazakhstan in the FIS Cup , where she finished sixth and first place. Immediately afterwards, she made her debut in the same location in the Continental Cup on July 13 and 14, 2019 , where she finished sixth and eighth and thus scored her first Continental Cup points.

At the Continental Cup competitions in Rena, Norway on January 25 and 26, 2020, Machinja achieved her best Continental Cup placements to date and her first podium in the Continental Cup with a fifth and a second place.

On February 1 and 2, 2020, Machinja made her debut at the competitions in Oberstdorf in the Ski Jumping World Cup , where she picked up her first World Cup points with places 30 and 28.
