Iron Horses is a German group from Kröpelin near Rostock.

The name Iron Horses is inspired by steam engines and stands for the trains that drove through the wild west of North America.

history

The band was founded in August 2000 by Manuel Arlt ( guitar ), Sven Möller ( bass ) and Sebastian Wegner ( vocals ). Three months later, Markus Arlt (guitar) and Christoph Dulisch ( drums ) completed the band.

Inspired by the time / by their great idols Motörhead and Judas Priest , they played their own songs from the start. The first album Titan 'n' Bones was released in 2007. In the same year Iron Horses signed a contract with T-Rave Records and released the album 'Black Leather' under the label. In 2017, the band won four awards at the German Rock & Pop Prize for young talent.

After the death of their manager, the band found a booker and manager in Dieter Hecker who has been with the band from 2018. The band went into their own studio in 2019 to record the Black Leather successor. The release should be in spring / summer 2020. With the R-Evolution of Steel Tour in March 2019, a headliner concert at the Open Air Seedorf in July 2019, a co-headliner concert at the K! NRock Festival in August 2019, the oldest international Russian rock festival in Kaliningrad and other appearances, the band continues to show its presence .
