Iryna Wassylivna Fris (born September 25, 1974 in Evpatorija , Ukrainian SSR ) is a Ukrainian politician of the Petro Poroshenko party .

In 2003 she graduated with distinction from the Institute for Theory and Art History at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kiev . From June to August 2014 she was the head of the Information Policy Department in the Presidential Office of Ukraine . She is a member of the Poroshenko Bloc, the party of the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko .

Fris ran for a seat in the Ukrainian parliament in the parliamentary elections in Ukraine in 2014 at number 30 on the list and has been a member of the Verkhovna Rada since November 27, 2014 . She is, among other things, Chairwoman of the Subcommittee on Security of Public Information Systems of the Verkhovna Rada, Deputy Member of the Permanent Delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE and Commissioner of the Commission on State Awards and Heraldry.

Iryna Fris lives in Tschajky near Petropavlivska Borschtschahiwka , is single and has a son.
