Iryna Sekacheva
Iryna Sekachova ( Ukrainian Ірина Секачова , English transcription Iryna Sekachova ; born July 21, 1976 in Wassylkiw , Kiev Oblast) is a Ukrainian hammer thrower .
After she was eliminated in the qualification at the European Championships in Budapest in 1998 and in Munich in 2002 , the 2000 Olympic Games in Sydney and the 2003 World Athletics Championships in Paris / Saint-Denis, she reached the final at the 2004 Olympic Games and was eighth .
At the 2005 World Cup in Helsinki she was sixth and eighth at the 2006 European Championships in Gothenburg. At the Olympic Games 2008 she was eliminated in the preliminary round as well as at the 2009 World Cup in Berlin.
She set her personal record of 74.52 m on July 2, 2008 in Kiev .
