Mohammad Isa Bin Abdul Halim , better known as Isa Halim (born May 15, 1986 ) is a Singaporean football player .

Player career

Isa Halim played Sepak Takraw as a child before he decided to play football at the age of 13. In 2001 he was committed to the youth team of Woodlands Wellington . In his first professional season, Isa Halim was already part of the regular formation four years later and reached third place in the table with his team at the end of the season. In 2006 he moved to league competitor Young Lions , for whom he was active for almost 4 years. During the 2009 season, the defensive midfielder went to Home United , where he played until 2011. For the 2012 season, Halim moved to the newly founded club Singapore LIONSXII , which plays in the Malaysia Super League .

National team

Isa Halim made his debut in the Singapore national soccer team on October 11, 2005 in the game against Cambodia . He won the 2007 ASEAN soccer championship with the national team and a bronze medal at the 2007 and 2009 Southeast Asian Games. Isa Halim was the national team captain at the 2009 Games.

In 2008, the Singaporean presented the Adidas F50 TUNiT soccer shoe together with world stars like Lionel Messi , David Villa and Arjen Robben . Isa Halim is one of the representatives of the Adidas football department.
