Life

Tigrett founded on June 14, 1971, together with Peter Morton first Hard Rock Cafe in London's district of Mayfair . The compilation of rock music , fast food and many memorabilia and musical instruments by well-known artists proved so successful that other branches soon followed. Eventually Tigrett sold his shares in Mecca Leisure .

In 1992 Tigrett founded the first House of Blues with Dan Aykroyd . Other investors were Harvard University and later The Walt Disney Company . After differences of opinion in the HOB board of directors, he left it in 1998. He then founded an Internet service called The Spirit Channel , which failed.

Tigrett, who is considered a follower of the guru Sathya Sai Baba , was married to Maureen Tigrett , the former wife of Ringo Starr , from 1989 until her death in 1994 .
