Isabel Peterhans

Isabel Peterhans (* 1986 in Baden ) is a Swiss comic artist and graphic artist.

life and work

Peterhans studied illustration at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts and lives in Kriens . Between February and May 2012 she published drawn and painted anecdotes from her stay in Jerusalem on her blog '' Yallabyebye '' . She let Israelis, Palestinians and foreign students have their say. The blog was able to “register a lot of interest”.

In 2010 her animated film '' Water "(with Naomi Bühlmann) was shown at the BD-fil comic festival in Lausanne. In 2012 she created a mural for the Fusta crib in Aarau.

In 2014 the “Bloggeschichten Yallabyebye” appeared in book form at Edition Moderne Peterhans “portraying people and places with naive lines and bright colors. The result is a kaleidoscope of realities of life ”, according to the Badische Zeitung. “A different kind of city tour,” says 041 Kulturmagazin.
