Isabelle Attard (born November 14, 1969 in Vendôme ) is a French politician . She has been a member of the National Assembly since 2012 .

After graduating from high school, Attard worked for the La République du Center newspaper in Orléans while she was studying history. She then lived in Sweden and studied Nordic archeology at Umeå University . In Paris she worked at the Muséum national d'histoire naturelle and in 2000 also acquired a DEA in environmental archeology. She started working as an archaeologist and joined the Les Verts party in 2001 . In 2005 she became the director of the museum where the Bayeux Tapestry is exhibited. In 2010 she earned a doctorate in environmental archeology / archeozoology . In the parliamentary elections in 2012 , she stood in the fifth constituency of the Calvados department for the newly founded EELV party and was elected to the National Assembly.

Isabelle Attard was one of the EELV politicians who publicly accused her former party colleague Denis Baupin of sexual harassment and aggression, which sparked a political scandal; In June 2016, Attard and two other women filed criminal charges against Baupin.
