Isabelle Graesslé (born February 23, 1959 in Strasbourg ) is a French theologian . From 2004 to 2016 she was director of the International Museum of the Reformation in Geneva, which opened in 2005 .

biography

Graesslé first studied classical philology at the University of Strasbourg . She then studied theology in Geneva and Dayton (Ohio) . She received her doctorate in 1988 in Strasbourg in the field of theology. As a private lecturer in practical theology, she received her habilitation in 1993 at the University of Bern . Since 1987 she has been pastor in Geneva for the university parish and head of the Geneva Center for Adult Education of the Evangelical Church. From 1995 to 2002 she taught at the universities of Geneva and Lausanne .

She is married to Jacques de Haller and lives in Geneva.
