Mancini ran in March 1988 in Rovaniemi her first of a total of 31 individual World Cup races , which she finished in 14th place over 10 km freestyle. Her best placings at the Nordic World Ski Championships in Lahti in 1989 were 20th place over 10 km freestyle and ninth place with the relay. In December 1989 she achieved her best individual placement in the World Cup with sixth place over 15 km freestyle in Soldier Hollow and 28th place in the overall World Cup at the end of the season. In the 1990/91 season she came in the points in all five World Cup appearances and achieved her best overall result with 13th place in the overall World Cup. At the highlight of the season, the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1991 in Val di Fiemme , she was tenth over 30 km freestyle. In the following season she came in 24th place in the overall World Cup with two top ten finishes. Her best results at the 1992 Winter Olympics in Albertville were ninth in the pursuit and fifth in the relay. In the following season she won the Continental Cup in Argentière over 10 km freestyle and achieved third place in Dobbiaco over 10 km freestyle. Her best results at the season highlight, the Nordic World Ski Championships in 1993 in Falun, were 14th place over 30 km freestyle and ninth place with the relay. She completed her last international race at the 1994 Winter Olympics in Lillehammer . There she ran on the 51st place over 5 km classic, on the 39th place over 15 km freestyle and on the 30th place in the pursuit.
