Isatou Jallow ( Isatou Basse Jallow , born October 10, 1997 ) is a Gambian soccer player .

society

At least from 2009 she played for Waterman FC . In July 2011 Jallow moved to Interior FC . Because she was used in a game against the Red Scorpions within a waiting period of 14 days after the change , the game was later rated 0-2 by the Gambia Football Association (GFA), which led to protests from Interior.

In October 2018, her move from Interior FC to the Israeli club FC Ramat hascharon for one season with the option of an extension was announced. This makes her the first Gambian female footballer to switch to a foreign professional club. She scored a goal in three missions in November 2018.

At the end of February 2019, her move to the Rivers Angels in Nigeria for the rest of the year with a possible extension was announced.

National team

In 2009 she was one of a shortlist from which a Gambian national team of women would emerge.

In 2012 she was part of the U-17 team that qualified for the U-17 Women's World Cup in Azerbaijan . The team lost all three group games significantly and was bottom of the group.

At the end of January 2014, she was scheduled to play for the Gambian women's national team in a friendly against Guinea-Bissau , which was canceled at short notice. The same situation was repeated in August 2017 in a friendly against Cape Verde . In November 2015, she played with a Gambian selection against the Scottish team Glasgow Girls FC , who were visiting Gambia, and scored a goal.

On September 16, 2017, the team had their first official international game against Guinea-Bissau, in which Jallow was able to score a goal.

In qualifying for the Africa Cup of Women 2018 , she competed with the Gambian team, but was eliminated in the second round against Nigeria , which later won the title.
