The Commendatore 112i from the Swabian manufacturer Isdera is a one-off super sports car built in 1993 . A total of two copies were built, one in 1993 and one in 1999. The older vehicle has a 6.0-liter V12 with 300 kW / 408 PS (engine code M120), used by Mercedes-Benz until September 1992 in the S 600 (W140) or S 600 Coupe (C140), and an overhead exterior mirror. Apparently this vehicle was dismantled again. The younger vehicle, which has a 6.9-liter V12 and side mirrors, was owned by the Swiss Albert Klöti for a long time . There was at least one other hand change to another Swiss owner before the vehicle was sold to Germany in early 2017.

Development / production

After Mercedes-Benz had launched a V12 engine in the S-Class , Isdera decided to develop a sports car with this Mercedes-Benz M 120 engine. The Commendatore was presented at the IAA in Frankfurt in 1993. The price was around DM 800,000 .

technology

The Commendatore is based on a tubular space frame, a GRP body with wing doors and a Mercedes V12 unit. As in the Mercedes, this engine initially produced 300 kW (408 hp).

The power is transmitted by a six-speed transmission from Getrag . The headlights are already known from the Porsche 968 , and with the electronic active suspension you could rely on the help of Bilstein . This enables the driver to lower the car by 7 cm when driving overland. Other partners were Pirelli and BBS motor vehicle technology . The performance is delayed with brakes from Brembo and a rear spoiler that rises up to 80 ° when braking.

The vehicle has a luggage compartment with a capacity of around 200 liters.

Performance

The Commendatore brings it to 342 km / h and accelerates - with a weight of 1480 kg - in 4.1 seconds from 0 to 100 km / h.
