Isidor Baumgartner

Isidor Baumgartner (* 1946 ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and pastoral psychologist .

Life

Baumgartner studied Roman Catholic theology and psychology.

From 1975 to 1993 Baumgartner was a lecturer in pastoral psychology.

Baumgartner has been Professor of Pastoral Theology and Christian Social Studies at the Catholic Theological Faculty of the University of Passau since 1993 . He is a signatory of the memorandum “ Church 2011: A Necessary Awakening ”.
