Isidorus Keppler

Isidorus Keppler (born November 13, 1715 in Dingelstädt , † August 22, 1792 in Erfurt ) was a German Roman Catholic theology professor.

His parents Johann Thomas Keppler and Martha Elisabeth Opffermann gave him his first lessons in Heiligenstadt . He spent his youth in a monastery in Erfurt . After that he lived in Lauingen and then in Neuburg . He then became President of the Rhenish-Swabian Province of the Augustinian Order . With his knowledge as a preacher, he was teaching theology at the University of Konstanz as early as 1746 . In 1749 he was awarded his doctorate in Erfurt. In 1781 he became professor of theology at the University of Erfurt . He was an assessor at the University of Fulda .
