Islote Edgardo

The Islote Edgardo ( Spanish ) is a small island in the Palmer Archipelago west of the Antarctic Peninsula . It is located 2.22 km east of Buff Island near the western entrance to Bismarck Strait and together with Islote Jorge forms the group of Walsham Rocks .

Ernesto González Navarrete, head of the 2nd Chilean Antarctic Expedition (1947–1948) named it after his son Edgardo.
