Training with Hinako ( Japanese い っ し ょ に と れ ー に ん ぐ TRAINING WITH HINAKO, Issho ni Torēningu ~ , eng . "Training together: Training with Hinako") is an original video animation that was published in Japan on April 24, 2009 and has a fitness training theme, which the leading actress Hinako also presents voyeuristically .

In the anime , Hinako is transformed into an anime figure through a mysterious circumstance through the television, who initially complains to the viewer about this fact, but quickly accepts it as a given and addresses the viewer directly in her speech. In doing so, she realizes that both she and the spectator have a few kilograms too much on their ribs, and wants to encourage them to train together. During the training, the anime deliberately aims to look at the erotic-looking exercises from "interesting" camera angles.

Origin and publications

According to an interview by GyaO Trend News with producer Muneshige Nakagawa, Nakagawa called Issho ni Training: Training with Hinako as "the first fitness training animation". He is said to have planned the project more than a year ago, which he himself assessed as a great risk, since "no one has been stupid enough to do this" so far. The actual animation of the 24-minute OVA, which Nakagawa had produced in Studio Hibari on behalf of his company Primastea, which he founded himself, is said to have only taken about 3 months and took place from January to March 2009. The director was Iku Suzuki , who had previously implemented series such as Happy Lesson and DearS . The character design was done by Ryōko Amisaki, while Katsuhiro Haji took care of the artistic design . The dubbing was done by Dax Production.

The name of the voice actress ( seiyū ) is unknown.

In Japan, the OVA was released on DVD on April 24, 2009 at a price of 2,100 yen . It should be noted that 10 minutes were accounted for by the actual plot and the remaining 14 minutes were bonus material.

From November 20, 2009, the mobile phone manga Issho ni Training: Keitai Manga ( い っ し ょ に と れ ー に ん ぐ け ー た い ま ん が ) was published. On the same day, the 47-page art book Motto Issho ni Training: Hinako no Hon ( も っ と い っ し ょ に と れ ー に ん ぐ ひ な こ の ほ ん ; ISBN 978-4-86191-575-8 ) was published by Byakuya Shobō.

On August 6, 2010, an application for Issho ni Training for Android ( い っ し ょ に と れ ー に ん ぐ for Android) was published for the Android Market . With this, the user is supposed to carry out the corresponding training units, while the application tries to adapt the animations of Hinako to the movements of the user with the help of the presumed touch and acceleration sensors of the mobile phone. In addition to Japanese, the application is also partially available in English. An illegally distributed version of it was also used from at least February 2011 to spread a cell phone virus , which was the first such case in Japan.

The anime label Kazé Germany announced on January 21, 2011 that it had acquired the rights to the OVA and released it on April 29, 2011 in Germany on DVD under the title Training with Hinako . The German language version was produced by TV + Synchron Berlin with Marianne Graffam in the role of the heroine.

Sequels

In bed with Hinako

The sequel Issho ni Sleeping: Sleeping with Hinako ( い っ し ょ に す り ー ぴ ん ぐ SLEEPING WITH HINAKO, Issho ni Surīpingu ~ ) followed on February 11, 2010 , in which you can watch the leading actress go to bed and sleep. The production staff remained the same except that Shin'ichirō Kimura was directed, and previously in that position for Maburaho , Fight Ippatsu! Jūden-chan !! and Karin was responsible. The running time is 40 minutes.

The anime label Kazé announced on January 21, 2011 that it had also acquired the rights to this OVA and also released it, together with Training with Hinako , on April 29, 2011 in Germany on DVD under the title Im Bett mit Hinako . The German dubbed version was produced by TV + Synchron Berlin, again with Marianne Graffam in the title role. Renée Eigendorff was responsible for the dubbing .

In the bathroom with Hinako

On December 24th 2010 followed with Issho ni Training 026: Bathtime with Hinako & Hiyoko ( い っ し ょ に と れ ー に ん ぐ026（お ふ ろ）BATHTIME WITH HINAKO & HIYOKO), where 026 is read as Ofuro ("Bad"), another continuation. As the name suggests, the plot shifts in such a way that Hinako is observed "training in the bathroom". She presents four different exercises in which the viewer is addressed directly before the younger, newly arrived Hiyoko also enters the bathroom. There is a smaller argument with the busty Hinako, because Hiyoko envies her bust size and has a rather childish, petite physique. Hiyoko plays down this fact as excess fat and first has to get used to the situation that an additional person, the spectator, is also in the bathroom. This is followed by the usual Japanese washing before going to the bath , whereby both are mutually “helpful”. At the end both of them take a hot bath before they say goodbye to the viewer and the DVD ends after 25 minutes.

According to the producer, the anime is intended to be watched while sitting in the bathtub, which is why a special edition with an additional microSD card was offered in addition to the release on DVD , so that the film could be viewed using a 1seg- enabled device (e.g. Cell phones) in the bathroom.

Kazé also licensed the third part and released it on July 26, 2013. Hinako is now spoken by Nicole Hannak and newcomer Hiyoko by Jodie Blank .

reception

Although the production of Issho ni Training was a risk according to the producer, the training animation was very well received and more than 10,000 copies were sold in less than two weeks. Thus, Issho ni Training: Training with Hinako reached 12th place in the Japanese DVD charts published by Oricon in the week from April 27th to May 3rd, 2009 and stayed there for 9 weeks.
